today a lovely old man asked me if i had a partner, to which i replied yes with a silly smile on my face. he then told me to always take care of them and theyll take care of me.
how cute.
i was also rather impressed that a man of his generation used the term partner instead of boyfriend. whether this was to mean i could love any human or not, i like to assume it was.
